AWSOME 3 WEEKS IN CANADA
LEARNING FRENCH, CULTURE AND FUN
FRENCH Immersion program, specially designed for teenagers 12 to 16 years old. From beginner to advanced level of French. Three weeks of stimulating discoveries, new experiences and unforgettable encounters.
Dynamic French lessons are offered every morning of the week. In the afternoon, students take advantage of the various workshops to improve their French: song, dance, phonetics, theater, environment, etc. Challenging and diverse socio-cultural activities are on the program during these three weeks! Plus visits of the main touristic places of the province, its an ideal camp for every teenager.
LESSONS
French lessons to improve written and spoken French. Focused on a dynamic approach, the lessons contain a variety of activities and exercises (both oral and written) allowing students to improve their knowledge of French: discussions, situation, writing, movie, song, newspaper article, etc. Lessons are 15 hours per week.
There is a placement French test and at the end there is a final exam so for students who complete the program receive a certificate.
SOCIOCULTURAL WORKSHOP
Students choose their socio-cultural workshops among: Quebec song, student radio, newspaper, theater and arts.
Three times a week, students are divided by interest group for 90 minutes. The workshops take place in a more fun context and allow participants to practice the French language while learning new words of vocabulary and increasing confidence in Oral French. These workshops are compulsory and are an integral part of the program.
CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
There is a program of diverse and stimulating Activities. During the three weeks of the program, several campus activities are organized to promote conversation and group spirit, these activities are supervised by staff.

CULTURAL VISITS
Included some activities aim to discover the Province of Quebec, weekends are the perfect time. Indeed, the visits of Quebec and Montreal are essential for the participants besides some local visits like:
- Visit of the Old Prison
- Visit of the Village Québécois d’Antan
- Dinner at the sugar shack
- Day at the beach of Saint-Quentin island
- Tree to Tree Adventure Park
- Pool
The days are planned to make it possible to visit the strategic places of these key cities of Quebec. The return to university is done the same day. All visits are supervised by staff.
*All visits depends on weather and availability at time of camp.
RESIDENCES
Participants are accommodated in student residences located on campus, close to the main pavilions where most of the activities will be held. Students share their apartment with other participants of the same program and same gender.
Each apartment has four single bedrooms as well as a small kitchenette, a living room and a shared bathroom. In each of the bedrooms, there is a single bed (bedding and pillow included), a work desk and a closet. A telephone set is available in each of the apartments. Students share their apartment with other participants of the same gender and program.
Washers and dryers are available in the basements of each of the apartment buildings. The fee is approximately CA $ 1.50 per service.
Internet access is available free of charge in all rooms (with cable and under certain restrictions).
SAFETY
A curfew is applied from 9:30 p.m. every evening except during certain weekend activities. Monitors remain in residence with the students and they ensure the tranquility of the premises 24 hours a day. In addition, security guards are assigned to the residences and they tour regularly.
MEALS
All meals for the week are served in the University cafeteria. Healthy and balanced menus are prepared every day. Since the cafeteria is closed on weekends, meals are taken in restaurants during the visits, and students are refunded the following Monday for each lunch and dinner of the weekend.
Please note that any allergies or dietary restrictions must be notify at least four weeks before the start of the program.

There is an emergency insurance for all students.
